This year will be the fourth year for Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA) to host a seminar for publishers (and anyone interested in becoming a publisher, including self-published authors) at the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS).

CSPA is pleased to announce that we will host Publishers’ Institute at ICRS this summer in Atlanta. The theme of this year’s Publishers’ Institute is “Expanding Your Reach.” We have an exciting lineup of speakers for the seminar.

What a Publicist Can Do for Your Book
Jessica Quinn, Publicist, Jessica (Attebury) Quinn Public Relations

Jessica Quinn, owner of Jessica (Atteberry) Quinn Public Relations, has worked in public relations for the past 19 years—this year celebrating 10 years as an independent public relations consultant. Quinn works with a wide range of clients including individuals featured in prominent breaking news stories, faith-based charities, and authors writing about sports, politics or various non-fiction and fiction topics. Notable clients have included: Tony Dungy, Joe Gibbs, Deanna Favre, Rick Warren, and Karen Kingsbury.

Logos Bible Software’s Digital Publishing Platform
Bill Nienhuis, Director of Publisher Relations & Services, Logos Bible Software

Bill Nienhuis began a career in digital publishing when he joined Logos Bible Software in 1993 after spending nearly 10 years in the radio broadcasting industry. The Executive Director of the office of Publisher Relations, Services and Digital Content Development for Logos Bible Software, Bill has relationships with key leadership teams in over 120 book publishing companies. Logos Bible Software won the 2011 Non-Fiction Publishing Innovation Award from the Digital Book World.

Sarah Bolme, Director, CSPA

Sarah Bolme is the co-founder and Director of Christian Small Publishers Association (CSPA), the owner of CREST Publications, and the author of the award-winning Your Guide to Marketing Books in the Christian Marketplace. She is also the editor of the CSPA Circular, the monthly newsletter of Christian Small Publishers Association. Sarah’s passion is educating others to help them market their books into the Christian marketplace.

Publishers’ Institute will be held on Monday, July 11th, from 6:30–8:30 p.m. at the Georgia World Congress Center in Room B201, during The International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Atlanta, Georgia.   1. I went to ICRS 2012 in Orlando, FL and had my first book signing. Yes, It is important to have a good publicist to help out. I agree, cost and risk….never know until you try.
