Growing Up

Christian Small Publishers Associaton’s (CSPA) mission is to represent, promote, and strengthen the small publisher in the Christian marketplace. This year is CSPA’s eighth year of carrying out this mission.

I am proud to announce that some of CSPA’s publisher members are growing up. It is exciting to watch children grow up and we feel that excitement about our members.

Truth Book Publishers has been a member publisher of CSPA for many years. James and JaNell Lyle are the founders and owners of the company. In addition to being authors themselves, they have mentored and published numerous authors over the years.

When Truth Book Publishers joined Christian Small Publishers Association, they were new to publishing and eager to learn. They attended CSPA’s first Publishers’ Institute, a seminar that provides cutting edge information to publishers. They also took Publishers Boot Camp, an intensive training workshop for new publishers, hosted by one of CSPA’s Partner Members. James and JaNell also attended the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) displaying books and hosting author book signings with CSPA for three years.

As James and JaNell learned and applied the information that CSPA and others provided, they grew in knowledge and in size.

This year, Truth Book Publishers graduated to their own booth at ICRS! They designed and hosted a professional-looking booth. In addition, they brought eight authors to the show for author appearances and book signings.

At CSPA, we love to see our publishers grow up. We feel that we have fulfilled our mission when our member publishers grow. We celebrate the growth of Truth Book Publishers with James and JaNell Lyle.
